Minor storyline developments fueled this week’s WWE Main Event, as Sheamus and The Miz continued to squabble, while the nearly pointless Naomi and Cameron angle continues to unfold. While the in-ring performances were decent, the show did little but barely tease the upcoming Battleground pay per view.
Simply put, watch a talented performer the likes of Emma lose to someone like Cameron isn’t entertaining.

United States Champion Sheamus vs The Miz: Just like their match on RAW this week, The Miz tried a lot of strategies to avoid bruises to his Hollywood face, but Sheamus defeated him with the Rollup.
Cameron vs. Emma: Cameron dominated Emma with vicious moves until Emma caught her with the Rollup and won. After her loss, Cameron decided to attack Emma, but Naomi’s appearance forced her to leave the ring.
