WWE Money in the Bank Power Rankings: Cena’s Time is Now, Again

Away from a few filler matches, the 2014 Money in the Bank pay per view satisfied thanks to two insane ladder matches and two more than solid title bouts.

Check out our Money in the Bank Power Rankings to see who made it out of the WWE’s annual beginning of Summer event with a title shot and more importantly, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Honorable Mention: Goldust and Stardust: Well, they keep on winning matches, even if the fans don’t care too much. Their new DDT/Bearhug finisher has potential as well, so who knows what could happen here.

5: Paige: Her match with Naomi was one of the best Divas matches on PPV in years. the debut of her new DDT variation was pretty awesome as well. All she needs is some more microphone time (as well as a few more matches with Naomi) and she’ll be one of the better Divas champions in years.

4: Alexander Rusev: His first real test in the WWE, Rusev clamped on The Accolade against Big E. Langston for a hard-fought victory. Where the young heel goes from here is anyone’s guess, but with an undefeated streak still standing, it’s clear the WWE has plans for him.

3: The Usos: This was easily their best match in the WWE. Outsized and even against a team with more ability in the ring, Jimmy and Jey stepped up and for probably the first time in their WWE career stepped up marvelously. Although this feud probably isn’t over, The Usos wrote a first chapter that definitely ended to their liking.

2: Seth Rollins: Regardless of Kane’s interference or not, Rollins has a guaranteed WWE World Title shot. The Authority’s golden boy, Rollins has positioned himself to be a future WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Doing simple math, it appears Rollins will have the strap around his waist very soon.

1: John Cena: The new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Cena will have his hands full with The Authority the rest of the summer.
