When “Bridesmaids” Director Paul Feig was said to be Sony Pictures number one contender for the highly coveted “Ghostbusters 3” gig people were surprised—not as surprised as when it was also said the film will be a female-led reboot.

In a fanboy world where the casting of Michael B. Jordan as the Human Torch” in Fox’s “Fantastic Four” reboot led to outcry—one can imagine how people would react when a male-driven classic is rebooted to feature a female cast. As Bob Dylan once wrote “The Times They Are a-Changing.”
