A Tag Team Tournament, a few swerves, a hardcore match and a contract signing, this week’s TNA was definitely chunky.
Check out this week’s TNA Impact Wrestling Power Rankings to see who advanced in the TNA Tag Team tournament and who else stood out on another solid episode of Impact.
Honorable Mention: Bram: His current feud with Devon isn’t going to win any awards, but after beating Abyss and a few other TNA veterans, Bram continues to work his way up the ladder and create a niche for himself as a tough as hell competitor that is hell-bent on being successful.
5: Samuel Shaw: With his new valet in Britney in tow and his breaking away from Gunner, Shaw definitely made an impression on this week’s Impact. With a unique submission hold finisher, a hot a valet and a cool gimmick, Shaw has much more potential than you think.
4: Knockouts Division: Havok and Gail Kim appear set to have another epic and this time, expect an even better match, one that will most likely put the belt back around Kim’s waist.
3: The Hardy Boys: Their first round win over Jessie Godderz and Zema Ion is a step in the right direction. Following their performances with Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards as of late, it’ll be interesting if these two teams get in each other’s sights again.
2: Bobby Roode: This week’s contract signing segment on Impact proved once again that Roode is hungry to take on the TNA World Champ. What the larger question is, knowing that a submission victory is almost out of the question against Lashley, is the Roode Bomb enough to get him the TNA World Heavyweight Championship? Or does Roode have to pull a rabbit out of his trunks?
1: Bobby Lashley: He’s the man to beat and he knows it. One of the most dominant champions in TNA history, Lashley continues to be the type of champion the company deserves, even if he doesn’t defend his title as often as many would like.
