Finn Balor is now a full-fledged member of the NXT roster. That more than made up for an extremely thin card.
Check out this week’s NXT Power Rankings to see who made the most of a promo-heavy week on NXT action.
Honorable Mention: Tyler Breeze: Win, lose or draw, you know you’re going to get a great match every time Breeze steps in the ring. Another barnburner this week, Breeze was uber solid against Sami Zayn, but was unable to get the win. Regardless, he’ll always be in the mix for the NXT title.
5: Tyson Kidd: His win over Dash Wilder was a convinced one, but Wilder was able to hold his own for small periods. In the end, this is KIdd’s new role, win meaningless matches, but make young guys look good. It’s something he’ll do an awesome job with.
4: Sasha Banks: With Becky Lynch in her corner and an even more petty and evil attitude, Banks is more dangerous than ever.
3: Finn Balor: He is in amazing shape and although we didn’t see too many of his signature moves or body paint in his debut, he looks primed to do some amazing things in NXT.
2: Sami Zayn: His win over Tyler Breeze this week continues to help Zayn make his case that he is the legitimate #1 contender to Adrian Neville’s NXT Championship. One of the best workers in WWE, Zayn is ready to have the in-ring feud of the year with Neville.
1: Adrian Neville: He said he has no problem giving Zayn a title shot, but all he’s been doing is talking a lot of smack. In spite of that, Neville has all the reasons in the world to be cocky and arrogant, he’s the reigning nd defending NXT Champion.
