WWE Survivor Series Power Rankings: Sting Makes an Impact

Sometimes you don’t necessarily get what you pay for. Despite being the company’s first pay per view, the 2014 Survivor Series was certainly a better show than anything you’d see on Monday or Friday night. With a new Divas Champion and a shocking finish, it was the best pay per view of 2014.

Check out our Survivor Series Power Rankings to see who left the promotion’s second oldest pay per view with gold and their jobs.

Holy Crap: The Big Show: Turning his back on Team Cena, Show made a massive impact on what was, at that point a great back and forth Survivor Series match.

Honorable Mention: The Divas Division: The Survivor Series match with the Divas could have been much, much worse and the Divas title match was a complete shocker. While Paige and AJ Lee continue to be the two standouts in the division, it’s obvious that people like the Bella’s, Alicia Fox, Natalya Neidhart and Emma, can run with the ball if given a real opportunity.

5: Damien Sandow and The Miz: There are not the most conventional tag team and are more a product of a weal Tag Team division, but for better or worse, The Miz and Sandow are the new WWE Tag Team Champions. With a great “Good Cop. Bad Cop” thing going on, they can be more entertaining than the slew of teams that have held the gold as of late. All they need is a decent double-team finisher.

4: Dean Ambrose: Sure, he didn’t technically win at Survivor Series, but hitting Bray Wyatt with the Dirty Deeds on a chair before putting him through a table- well, that’s a nice way to make a statement. Ambrose may not be in the hunt of any singles titles right now, but that may change- very soon. One of the most talented young guys in the company, his time is coming,

3: Roman Reigns: In an emotional promo, Reigns vowed to be back in the ring in a month’s time. With plenty of drama already, a recharged Reigns could help the WWE end 2014 on a positive note. He could also add some much needed spice to the United States and Intercontinental title scenes.

2: Dolph Ziggler: In one of the best performances in Survivor Series history, Ziggler worked an amazing match. Easily the best worker in the company today, Ziggler has nothing left to prove. He deserves a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

1: Sting: He’s had his reservations about the WWE, but he made a wonderful first appearance. With a match against Triple H at Wrestlemania almost a definite, Sting has certainly made an impact.
