NXT R-evolution Power Rankings: Body Paint, Diamond Dust and InZane Moments

With Adrian Neville’s loss to Sami Zayn, as well as a host of great matches and wonderful moments, NXT R-evolution was easily better than the majority of WWE’s pay per views this year. And it wasn’t just the in-ring work. Great promos and Finn Balor’s first “special” entrance, as well as Kevin Owens debut, made R-evolution an event you won’t soon forget.

Check out our NXT R-evolution Power Rankings to see who ended up stealing NXT’s best two-hour event to date.

Don’t Forget: Charlotte Flair: A Diamond Dust for the win? Flair continues to prove she’s in a league of her own in NXT and someone who deserves more than four minutes on RAW.

Honorable Mention: Baron Corbin: Another quick and dominating win. It’s time to get this guy more competition before he turns into Mojo Rawley. With a great look, entrance and finisher, he’s in a great place to truly blossom.

5: The Lucha Dragons: Beating the next best team in NXT, Simon Gotch and Aiden English, no one appears to be in the same high-flying league as Sin Cara and Kalisto. With no more competition in sight, who’s next to challenge them for the titles?

4: Finn Balor: His entrance at R-evolution was easily the best in NXT history. With shades of the charismatic Jeff Hardy and the stiff Japanese style, Balor is an enigma all his own. Like Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville, he’s already WWE main roster ready.

3: Kevin Owens: Talk about a debut. Owens only unveiled a tiny bit of his arsenal against CJ Parker, but displayed plenty of power, speed and versatility. Make no mistake, he will be a star in NXT. With a great entrance and a cool t-shirt already, Owens is in a better situation than most WWE performers. And he should be. You don’t break your ass in the indies for 14 years and my get anything in return.

2: Adrian Neville: After months as the NXT Champion, Neville lost in a wild and wonderful match to Sami Zayn. Ready to join the WWE main roster, Neville will give RAW and Smackdown their first legitimate high-flyer since Rey Mysterio and Evan Bourne.

1: Sami Zayn: It took longer than anyone could have expected, but Zayn is finally the NXT Champion. With Neville out of the way, the bigger question is, who’s the first person to get in Zayn’s way?
