WWE RAW Power Rankings: Award Show Nonsense Before TLC

Awards Shows are filler TV and Wrestling Award Shows are even worse. With a thin card and no real drama or suspense, this week’s episode of RAW did nothing to create buzz for TLC.

Although there are a ton of predictions out there and thoughts on what could happen at the event, nothing was teased on this week’s RAW to get you excited before the big event.

Check out this week’s RAW Power Rankings to see who not only starred on this week’s RAW, but who took home a Slammy Award and built some momentum for the upcoming Tables, Ladders and Chairs PPV.

Honorable Mention: The New Day: They can all work and Kofi Kingston got a much-needed win over Stardust this week on RAW, but with no drama or feud in the works, what can they do to get over with fans and make themselves hot commodities? At this point, they’ve barely scratched the surface, being back for only a few weeks, but with no real promo work, they look more to be a mid-card faction than anyone to be afraid of.

5: AJ Lee: Her acceptance speech for the Diva of the Year award was fitting. Redefining the term, Diva, Lee is still the best performer in the division or not, regardless of if there is a strap around her tiny little waist or not.

4: Damien Sandow: He’s hilarious and deserves a bigger role, but for now, he’ll have to be happy with a stunt Tag Team title around his waist. A former Money in the Bank winner, Sandow will get his next singles push in the next few months. That’s something you can bet on.

3: Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt: With no Brock Lesnar match at TLC, this will be the match to watch- make no mistake. The WWE’s top Anti-Hero vs. The Most Ruthless Heel on the roster? Sign us up now. It’s just a shame there’s no title at stake.

2: Seth Rollins: The “Undisputed Future of the WWE” scored another heel-ish win this week, this time over the likes of former World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler. Talking smack about Sting and Randy Orton after the win, Rollins continues to prove he’s not only one of the company’s biggest breakout stars, he’s the WWE’s best heel.

1: John Cena: We’ve seen Cena take out Big Show before, but this time, Cena is more focused than ever to get back in the WWE World Heavyweight title hunt. Although the rumors say he’s a feud or two away from hanging up his boots, he’s sure to go out with a bang.
