The introduction of the tease, this week’s Monday Night RAW was what was to be expected, the beginning of the foundation for TLC, with every feud getting just a enough attention to spur some thought until next week.
Check out this week’s RAW Power Rankings to see what stories are developing with less than two weeks before TLC.
Honorable Mention: Jimmy and Jey Uso: They’ve been the workhorses of the WWE Tag Team division for over a year now and with their win in the Tag Team Turmoil matchup this week on RAW they earned themselves a shot at Damien Sandow and The Miz’s WWE Tag Team Championship. Although they may not have what it takes to win, they’ll do something even better, put Miz and Sandow over even more. Add in the drama between Jimmy and The Miz and things could get a bit spicy.
On the Rise: Jack Swagger: After several missed opportunities to take out United States Champion Alexander Rusev earlier this year, can this now be Swagger’s chance to make good on his near limitless potential?
5: Bray Wyatt: Even though his win over R-Truth this week on RAW was anything but monumental, Wyatt continues to prove he’s a force and someone Dean Ambrose must take very seriously at TLC. With his rocking chair broken, it’s apparent now that Wyatt understands that more than ever before.
4: Big Show: Call him a sell out all you want, but Show knocked out Cena again this week and took out Rowan with steel steps. Bad heel turn or not, the aging big man continues to make an impact.
3: Dolph Ziggler: The best worker the company has right now with no Daniel Bryan or CM Punk, Ziggler deserves a shot at Brock Lesnar. The perfect example of a hard-working underdog champion, the roof would blow off the place if he was ever given an opportunity like that.
2: John Cena: The show was weak, but Cena did his part my allowing Rollins to make him look vulnerable heading into TLC. With another good performance this week on RAW, Cena continues to pull his weight.
1: Seth Rollins: You put John Cena through a table and that’s a nice way to guarantee a beating in your future, but it’s also a quick and not so easy way to make an impact. Easily the top heel on RAW when WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar isn’t on the show, Rollins continues to prove his versatility.
