NXT Power Rankings: B-Team Blues

With little storyline development and no in-ring action from Finn Balor, Baron Corbin, Kevin Owens or Sami Zayn, this week’s NXT felt flat. While the great tag team made event made up for some of the passable moments, it was nothing to go crazy about.

Check out this week’s RAW Power Rankings to see who starred in unusually weak episode of NXT.

Honorable Mention: Sasha Banks: She’s one of the bets overall female workers in NXT, not to mention the WWE. Her win over Alexa Bliss this week on NXT wasn’t too much to go crazy about, but what it does do is keep her pertinent until her next encounter with NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.

5: Hideo Itami: His first win in NXT as a single competitor, Itami looked good against the polished Curtis Axel. With Finn Balor now engaged in a feud with Tyson Kidd, Itami will finally get the chance to shine by himself in NXT.

4: Tyler Breeze: His return after an absence of a few months wasn’t very spectacular as newcomer Chad Gable looked more energetic and polished. Regardless, with his charisma and quick win ability with the Beauty Shot, he’s always a selfie away from getting back in the NXT title hunt.

3: Tyson Kidd: Cats? PETA? He’s out of his mind. While his single career has hit a snag and he’ll most likely put over Finn Balor next week, his career is about to take off with Antonio Cesaro.

2: The Lucha Dragons:
With another win over Simon Gotch and Aiden English, as well as the unveiling of a new double-team finisher, Sin Cara and Kalisto continue to prove all of their doubters wrong. But with no real enemies waiting in the bushes for them, how much can this team develop over the next few weeks? Much like the Usos, the argument will never be that they can’t perform once in the ring, but what makes anyone want to see them before the action?

1: Sami Zayn: With a match against Adrian Neville in the works and a feud with Kevin Owens brewing, Zayn is one of the most interesting characters i the WWE Universe. With plenty of fan support and one of the most exciting movesets in the game, that isn’t about to change anytime soon.
