Impact Wrestling Coverage: Grudge-Fueled

No Lashley, no Angle, no Kong or Terrell?

This past week’s Impact was set up for failure, but on the back of Ethan Carter III and a great match between Bobby Roode and Eric Young, was actually solid and an important one in terms of storyline development and momentum.

Matches:

Last Man Standing Match: Eric Young vs. Bobby Roode: This was a rough one with several close calls. There were counters galore and plenty of foreign objects. But after Young was unable to put Roode through a table, Roode countered into the Roode Bomb for the win.

Drew Galloway vs. MVP: Galloway was set to get the win via the Future Shock DDT, but before he could get the win, the Beat Down Clan jumped in and destroyed the former WWE Superstar.

Bram vs. Magnus: Magnus got the win in another bout that ended via DQ after Bram hit Magnus with the Low Blow right in front of the referee. After the match, Bram beat on Magnus and broke a pool cue over his forehead before he forces Magnus to kiss his boot in order to let Mickie James go.

Robbie E. w/Jessie Godderz, Zema Ion and Angelina Love vs. Brooke Tessmacher: After successfully eliminating both Love and Godderz from the equation, Tessmacher got the win with the Jackknife Rollup on E.

Hair vs. Hair. Rockstar Spud vs. Ethan Carter III w/Tyrus: Spud got help from Mr. Anderson, who took out Tyrus with the Mic Check on the outside and even Jeremy Borash, but it wasn’t enough. Carter, who took just as much punishment as Spud, continued to pound on the bloodied smaller star. After the One-Percenter, Carter ended their feud and made a proclamation, TNA is his now.
