NXT Power Rankings: Can Anyone Beat Owens?

An insane main event capped off a wonderful episode of NXT that although thin on content, delivered in a myriad of different ways.

Check out this week’s NXT Power Rankings to see who left this week’s NXT with the title.

Honorable Mention: Emma: Sure, it was just a slap, but Emma’s actions to Bayley this week on NXT set the scene for an awesome feud between two great workers, putting even more spotlight on the NXT Women’s Division. Overlooked on the main roster, Emma now has an excellent chance to shine now that she’s back in NXT.

5: Tyler Breeze and Hideo Itami: Their feud has no real charisma behind it, but in the ring, it just works. Their two-out-of-three falls match next week will be a blockbuster, If only NXT had a secondary singles title, this feud would be able to heat up even more. For now, however, we’ll just have some solid matches to watch.

4: Colin Cassady and Enzo Amore: These guys are primed for a serious run at the Tag Team titles and don’t let the dragged out length of this feud fool you. More to do with the lack of experience of the champions than anything wrong with Cassady and Amore, these two have proven themselves time and time again.

3: Sasha Banks: Nothing against Alexa Bliss, but you’ve got to be on your game and then some to beat someone like Banks. Although Bliss got in some nice offense against Banks this week on NXT, Banks is the boss for a reason. With her modified Crossface, The Bank Statement, Banks is one of the best female performers in the industry today.

2: Finn Balor: He came up short in his bid for the NXT Championship, but proves he belongs. Already a top star in Japan and a proven commodity on the indie scene, Balor continues to earn his stripes in NXT.

1: Kevin Owens: The most dominant Champion in NXT history, Owens continues to mow down everyone in his path.
