This week’s Monday Night RAW was another unavoidable disaster, thanks to largely weak promo work and a weak card which featured zero intriguing moments and away from the promo work of Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar, there wasn’t anything worth talking about.
Check out this week’s RAW Power Rankings to find out who stared in a lukewarm episode of RAW.
Sting: His appearance this week saved an otherwise lackluster episode of RAW and continues to make his match with Triple H one of the most anticipated for Wrestlemania 31.
Honorable Mention: Bray Wyatt: He’s got his match with Taker and will continue to talk smack until the bell is rung. In his element, Wyatt continues deliver some of the best mic work on the show.
5: Seth Rollins: He’s in a rare situation of weakness, but it’s an important test for him. One of the top young talents in the WWE and the best heel away from Brock Lesnar, Rollins will find a way to turn his situation with Randy Orton into some type of positive. With a guaranteed shot at the WWE title as well, Rollins can afford a loss to Orton as well.
4: Randy Orton: He’s been on fire since he came back a few weeks ago and is ready to finally get his hands on Seth Rollins. While the WWE Universe got a sneak peek at this in-ring feud this week on RAW, you can bet Orton will bring something special to their feud come Wrestlemania.
3: John Cena: While the promo between Cena and Rusev on this week’s RAW was written like trash, Cena has one of the highest matches on the Wrestlemania card, in an angle that will most likely signal a huge shift in Cena’s career. While it most likely means the end of his days as WWE Champion-contender, it’s going to prove he can get young guys over and still maintain his star status.
2: Roman Reigns: He’s got a chip on his shoulder and he wants his shot against Brock Lesnar. While his promo work is still not what it needs to be, Reigns continues to get pushed down the WWE Universe’s throats, making it only a matter of time before he’s taken seriously. Believe that.
1: Brock Lesnar: In one of the best promos of his WWE career, Lesnar set the scene for his match with Roman Reigns the only way that he could- by being bluntly honest about his destructive power. Regardless of if he wins or not, Reigns is going to take the beating of his life.
