Returns, debuts, busted announce tables?
This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW had it all.
Check out this week’s RAW Power Rankings to see who made the most of the first RAW after Wrestlemania.
Honorable Mention: Sheamus: Regardless of what you think of his new haircut, Sheamus made a big time return this week on RAW, taking out Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan. One of the most destructive performers in the company, Sheamus’ return definitely spices up the mid-card.
Adrian FREAKING Neville: His debut on RAW this week went exactly as planned. Hitting the Red Arrow to put down Curtis Axel, Neville is another young star ready for his chance at the brass ring.
Orton Hungry for Title: After one of his best Wrestlemania performances ever, Randy Orton had another solid week on RAW, sending another clear message to the Authority.
5: Daniel Bryan: Although it appears he’s going to have his hands full with Sheamus, Bryan put on another awesome show on RAW this week against Dolph Ziggler. One of the most popular performers in the promotion, Bryan is always at his best against tough opponents, so a feud with Sheamus could actually be great for him as well.
4: Kalisto: In arguably one of the best in-ring debuts in RAW history, NXT star Kalisto put on a high-flying clinic the promotion hasn’t seen since Rey Mysterio. Revitalizing the Tag Team division, Kalisto and Sin Cara have the potential to add a whole element to the show that’s been absent for years.
3: John Cena: His win over Dean Ambrose this week on RAW goes a long way in making the United States title one that means something. A few more weeks of solid matches and maybe fans will even start to warm up to the guy again.
2: Seth Rollins: Refusing to fight Brock Lesnar this week on RAW, Rollins was at his cocky best and was able to escape relatively unscathed. With Lesnar now suspended, what’s next for Rollins and the WWE World Heavyweight title? Could Randy Orton get the shot he deserves?
1: Brock Lesnar: Screwed out of his rematch for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Lesnar destroyed the set and got suspended indefinitely, creating a one-of-a-kind scene that puts him over as a destructive face the likes of the WWE have never seen before.
