WWE RAW Power Rankings: Bye Bye Bryan, Neville Rising

It’s kind of sad when Daniel Bryan’s relinquishing of the Intercontinental title and the return of the Elimination Chamber were the biggest news on an episode of RAW before a pay per view. At the same time, an awesome John Cena/Adrian Neville match and the continued dominance of Luke Harper and Erick Rowan made for a few cool spots.

Check out this week’s WWE RAW Power Rankings to see who looks to make Payback more than a passable WWE PPV.

Honorable Mention: Luke Harper and Erick Rowan: The WWE Tag Team Division is in desperate need of new blood and the reformed team of Harper and Rowan add a level of toughness and unpredictability the division sorely needs. Two of the most talented big men in the sport today, Harper and Rowan have the pedigree to take home the titles from The New Day.

5: Adrian Neville: John Cena and Rusev may be getting all the attention these days, but Neville was a hair away from walking out of this week’s Monday Night RAW with the United States title. A former NXT Champion, make no mistake, Neville will have gold around his waist this year.

4: Dean Ambrose: His win over Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble wasn’t anything amazing, but it gives him some momentum going into Payback. Charismatic as hell, Ambrose would make a far better WWE World Heavyweight Champion than Roman Reigns, but isn’t in the same league as Seth Rollins or Randy Orton, yet.

3: Roman Reigns: His win over Kane this week on RAW gives him perhaps the biggest jolt of momentum since his run against Brock Lesnar before Wrestlemania. Regardless, it’s still obvious he’s not quite the guy the WWE needs him to be. At the same time, that doesn’t mean he isn’t talented or useful. Expect him to play a big role in Payback, but don’t expect to see him leave with the title.

2: Randy Orton: If someone is going to beat Seth Rollins at PayBack, it’ll be Orton. With plenty of fan support, stranger things have happened, but don’t count on it.

1: Seth Rollins: He’s young, rash and already proven in big time matches. he’s not leaving Payback without his title.
