It is no secret that people today ride on nostalgia— people constantly referencing cultural staples of days past, rock Urban Outfitters tees that rep their favorite shows from the 80s and 90s and binge watch these shows until they cannot binge no more—now Vimeo and Hasbro has the perfect dose of nostalgia for you.
On April 28, Vimeo and Hasbro announced a partnership that would bring Hasbro’s classic collection of animated series to the video platform—with such classics like “Transformers (Generation 1)†and “Jem and the Holograms†released on the date of the announcement. Fans have the option to purchase episodes individually or the whole series, which would mark the first time that fans can own every episode of these series and they are all readily available to watch on the device of your choice.

This partnership brings these widely popular franchises to a new generation through the VOD medium, giving viewers access to their favorite characters across their digital devices. The first two releases, Transformers: Generation 1 and Jem, became available on April 28, 2015. We plan to release hundreds of episodes from 13 Hasbro Studios franchises throughout the year. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Hasbro and their amazing stable of beloved properties well into the future.
