Away from the solid main event and appearances by Hideo Itami and Eva Marie, this week’s episode of NXT had little in the way of intrigue.
While everyone is eager to see Kevin Owens and Finn Balor face off in Japen, the WWE is little extra aside from a three-part Balor documentary to fuel the feuds fire.
Matches:
Jason Jordan and Sylvester LeFort vs. Colin Cassady and Enzo Amore w/Carmella: An unspectacular match that saw Amore get the quick win with the surprise Rollup on Jordan. Was Cassady even ever tagged into this match?
Dana Brooke w/Emma vs. Cassie: Brooke won handily with the Fireman’s Carry Michinoku Driver.
Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley vs. Angelo Dawkins and Sawyer Fulton: Just like their last match, Ryder and Rawley got the win with the Assisted Rough Ryder.
Finn Balor vs. Rhino: Balor got the win with the Sling Blade and Coup De Grace despite interference from Kevin Owens. After the match, Owens and Rhino both attacked Balor, but Samoa Joe made the save.
