The M Center Gives Their Regards to Broadway!

Brooklyn’s premier arts training group celebrates Broadway with SHOWTUNE.

Brooklyn, NY – The M Center of Brooklyn soared to new heights with VOICES, their annual concert of the promising students of the M Music Master Class. Now, the celebrated training ground will start a new tradition with the opening of SHOWTUNE, a tribute to the greatest works of the American Musical Theater.

Mary Elizabeth Micari (Broadway professional with credits including Thoroughly Modern Millie, Beauty and the Beast, Wonderful Town, Spamalot, Little Women, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Light in the Piazza, The Producers, Mary Poppins, Wicked, Jersey Boys, Mama Mia! Spring Awakening; GMHC Showstoppers and two Tony Award shows; and Mason Griffin (musical director, Naked Boys Singing Off-Broadway and colleague of industry pros such as Taylor Negron, Steve Martin, Laura Osnes, and Santino Fontana) have put together a night of classic musical theater presented by the students of the m center musical theatre master class.

Presenting memorable melodies from Tony-winning works will be Ashley Chico, Emmy Pai, Isabella Sirota, Jeffrey Ng, Mario Claudio, Christine Conway, and featuring Alinna & Andrew Gonzalez and Martin Richards from the M Youth program.

The M Center’s Performing Art program has garnered rave reviews for its Voices Concerts and awards for its Playwrights Workshop; the Wellness programs have bred exciting Psychic Friday Tarot Nights, soothing REIKI Sundays; and an informative series of spiritual wellness classes.
