It’s hard to argue with three title matches, a Battle Royal and a new General Manager in one episode. For the last month, Impact Wrestling has been the best wrestling show on Wednesday nights and with Ethan Carter III growing into his role as the lead heel on the show, Impact continues to build itself into dependable show. While the ratings may not show it, Impact has much more depth than you might expect, especially if you don’t regularly watch.

No. 1 Contender for the TNA World Heavyweight Title | 20-Man Battle Royal: Even after his archrival MVP tried to play a role, Drew Galloway ended up getting the win in exciting Battle Royal.
Grado vs. DJ Z vs. Rockstar Spud vs. X-Division Champion Tigre Uno: At this point, why is Grado in the ring with three guys that can actually wrestle? His participation in this match was limited and Uno pinned him with a sloppy Backwards 450.
Brooke Tessmacher vs. Knockouts Champion Taryn Terrell w/ Jade and Marti Bell: The returning Gail Kim made her presence felt and her interference and a Facebuster from Tessmacher allowed Brooke to take home the Knockouts title.
TNA Slammiversary Replay | James Storm vs. Magnus: A solid back and forth until Storm used a glass bottle over Magnus’ head for the win.
Drew Galloway vs. TNA World Heavyweight Champion Ethan Carter III w/Tyrus: Wow. Just when it appeared Galloway had the match in hand, his old pal Eli Drake turned his back on him, allowing ECIII to hit the One-Percenters for the win.

Hickey is also the lead voiceover performer on Mega Cat Studios’ upcoming title WrestleQuest, responsible for nearly 90 characters in the game, as well as Skybound's Renfield: Bring Your Own Blood, where he voices both Dracula and Renfield, as well as several other characters. He also stars in Ziggurat Interactive’s World Championship Boxing Manager 2, where he performs the VO of nearly every male character in the game. He also worked on the Atari VCS’s BPM Boy.
