TNA Impact Wrestling Power Rankings: ECIII All Day

With Ethan Carter III booking the show and wrestling three matches, this episode of Impact was an enjoyable one with a beefy card, plenty of laughs and thanks to Jeff Jarrett, more intrigue.

Check out this week’s TNA Impact Wrestling Power Rankings to see how Carter did in his first episode of Impact as TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

Honorable Mention: The Dirty Heels: Even though Austin Aries and Bobby Roode don’t have the TNA Tag Team Championships around their waists doesn’t mean they still can’t cause trouble. Their win over Matt Hardy this past week on Impact is simple proof of that.

5: Drew Galloway: Just when you thought Galloway wasn’t pertinent anymore following the end of The Rising, he gets a huge win over the Revolution all by himself this past week on Impact. The former Intercontinental Champion isn’t exactly a kid anymore, so it should be interesting to see how his career develops in TNA with a real singles push.

4: Bram: Win, lose or draw, Bram is going to inflict pain on someone. Although he may not have the pedigree to win a singles title in TNA yet, he’s got something good enough to keep him moving up the mod-card.

3: Jeff Jarrett: The on-going interviews with Jarrett have continued to make TNA more interesting than they were before, while breeding intrigue for Global Force Wrestling. It’s not only a win-win for both companies, it’s a win for fans as well.

2: Kurt Angle: Back with a vengeance, Angle pushed ECIII to his limit, but once again, the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion managed to hold on to his title. What’s next for Angle?

1: Ethan Carter III: He’s not only the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion, he’s a pretty funny guy too. Playing well off the crowd and having another solid match with Kurt Angle, Carter continues to prove he’s no fluke, even if he has to resort to heel tactics to keep the belt.
