A bunch of filler matches nearly spoiled the show, but Bayley’s win over Charlotte Flair and a solid main event between Samoa Joe and Rhino made for an enjoyable show. Add in some promo from Finn Balor and Kevin Owens, as well as the announcement of a Becky Lynch and Bayley match for next week and a Justin “Thunder†Liger/Tyler Breeze match at Takeover and the scene is almost set for NXT Takeover Brooklyn.
Matches:
Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley: An athletic encounter with a ton of counters and near-falls. After Bayley escaped the Figure-Four, Charlotte kicked out of the Belly-to-Bayley. After Charlotte kicked out of German Suplex, Bayley ended up with the win thanks to a Belly-to-Bayley from the top rope.
Baron Corbin vs. Steve Cutler: Corbin got another quick win with the End of Days.
Tyler Breeze vs. Aaron Solow: Breeze got the speedy win with the Beauty Shot.
Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley vs. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder: Dawson and Wilder got the last laugh with the Shock Machine, after Ryder got the win with the Assisted Rough Ryder.
Samoa Joe vs. Rhino: A good back and forth in a roughly 10-minute match. Joe got the win when Joe hit the Muscle Buster after Rhino decided to go to the top rope. Along the way, Rhino hit a ton of power moves, but Joe was vigilant throughout.

He also stars in Ziggurat Interactive’s World Championship Boxing Manager 2, where he performs the VO of nearly every male character in the game. He also worked on the Atari VCS’s BPM Boy.
