Jay Lethal is still the ROH TV and World Champion and Ring of Honor’s TV program continues to throw filler matches and a lack of promo at the viewer. Even if it is entertaining, how much longer can the show stay on the air without a title change or something remotely sexy?
Check out this week’s Ring of Honor Power Rankings to see who looks to gain some ground after Death before Dishonor.
Honorable Mention: AJ Styles: It’s always nice to see one of the sports most iconic independent performers on Ring of Honor and this past week on Ring of Honor he proved it once again. Helping the Young Bucks beat War Machine, Styles continues to make an impact every time he’s in an ROH ring.
5: Roderick Strong: He went an hour with ROH TV and World Champion Jay Lethal, but he wants another shot. One of the biggest stars in Ring of Honor, Strong has proven time and time again he belongs in the TV and World title conversation, but does he have enough in him to get a win over Lethal, especially with help from the House of Truth?
4: The Young Bucks: The fans love them and even though they often have to resort to heel tactics, it doesn’t matter. These two are easily one of the most dynamic tag teams in the world.
3: Cedric Alexander: His recent heel turn has gotten the attention of The Moose as well as the rest of the ROH mid-card. Could this be the move Alexander needs to take his career to the next level?
2: Adam Cole: His problems with the Kingdom aside, Cole continued his comeback in ROH with another great match, this time with former tag team partner Kyle O’Reilly against Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian.
1: Jay Lethal: Lethal continues to cut some of the best promo in ROH and he’s one of the only people in the sport today that’s having 60-minute matches. Simply put, he’s one of the best performers in the sport today.
