WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins started this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW with plenty of things of say about United States Champion John Cena, but by the end of the night he was just happy to still have his belt around his waist. Check out this week’s RAW Power Rankings to see how the Summerslam card is shaping up with less than two weeks to go before the big event and who else left RAW with something to brag about.
Honorable Mention: Antonio Cesaro: Win, lose or draw, Cesaro continues to prove he’s one of the top workers in the promotion. With a rapidly-growing fanbase and a ton of athletic ability, Cesaro has the potential to be the type of performer that former fans of CM Punk and Daniel Bryan can easily fall for.
5: The Divas Division: If the WWE just called up Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair a few weeks ago, the Divas Division would have been great, but by adding Becky Lynch, giving a more prominent role to Naomi and adding Alicia Foxx to Team Bella, the Divas Division is no longer relegated to one five-minute match. For the fourth show in a show, the Divas have had promo time and the type of match that viewers could get into. Although the mic work has been average at best, the in-ring work and mentorship from indie legend Sara Del Ray is uber apparent.
