With just two weeks before Takeover: Respect, this week’s episode of NXT was promo heavy as Bayley, Sasha Banks, the new arrival of Asuka and more Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic coverage. as well as highlights from the brand’s three shows in Texas this past weekend were heavily featured.
While there were just three “Full†matches this week, a solid title defense from the Vaudevillians and Asuka’s debut more than made up for the fact that Finn Balor, Samoa Joe and a host of other NXT singles stars weren’t on the card.

Eva Marie vs. Carmella: Early on Eva Marie hit Carmella with a massive Big Boot and kept down the Queen of Staten Island with strikes and submissions. Carmella fought back with a pair of Thesz Presses and some strikes in the corner, but she couldn’t put Eva Marie away. Although she didn’t kick out, Eva Marie was able to get her leg on the ropes. Eva Marie then sent Carmella to the outside with a Monkey Flip of sorts and Carmella apparently got hurt and was counted out.

The sequel, The Padre: One Shell Straight to Hell was released in February 2021- Hickey also served as a Story Editor and Lead Voiceover performer. He has also done narration and trailers for several other titles including The Kaiju Offensive, Relentless Rex and Roniu’s Tale.
Hickey is also the lead voiceover performer on Mega Cat Studios’ upcoming title WrestleQuest, responsible for nearly 90 characters in the game, as well as Skybound's Renfield: Bring Your Own Blood, where he voices both Dracula and Renfield, as well as several other characters. He also stars in Ziggurat Interactive’s World Championship Boxing Manager 2, where he performs the VO of nearly every male character in the game. He also worked on the Atari VCS’s BPM Boy.
