NXT Coverage: New Tag Team Champs, Joe Ready for Finn

New Tag Team Champions and the beginning of two wars in the NXT and Women’s title divisions made sure this week’s episode of NXT was a solid one. Add in another dominating performance from Nia Jax and more drama between Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews and the depth in the roster- and show is apparent.

Matches:

Tye Dillinger vs. Baron Corbin: This match never took place as Apollo Crews interrupted before the bell and beat on Corbin, getting the match thrown out.

NXT Women’s Champion Bayley, Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder vs. Alexa Bliss, Blake and Murphy: A fun match that saw Bliss steal the NXT Women’s title. However, Bayley got some revenge as she nailed Murphy with the Belly-to-Bayley, allowing the Hype Bros. to hit the Hype Ryder for the win.

Nia Jax vs. Deonna: Jax dominated with a Samoan Drop, her Alabama Slam variation and her Leg Drop Finisher.

NXT Tag Team Champions Simon Gotch and Aiden English vs. Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson: An old-school tag match that saw the challengers systematically work over English’s leg throughout the match. After Dawson hit the Stomp and English’s knee and leg, Wilder got the win with the Reverse Heel Lock to win the NXT Tag Team titles.
