NXT Power Rankings: Asuka Wants a Piece of Bayley

No Finn Balor, Samoa Joe or Sami Zayn? No problem. Thanks to a fun and passionate main event between Carmella and Bayley, this week’s NXT got by thanks to solid in-ring work and less star power. At the same time, NXT proved again that they can get by on the strength of their women’s division. Can any other promotions do that?

Honorable Mention: The Hype Bros: These guys are fan favorites and won’t be challenging for the NXT Tag Team titles anytime soon, but with an awesome finisher and some charisma, they serve a solid purpose in the middle of the crowded Tag Team roster.

5: Alexa Bliss: Whoa- who expected the fans to get behind Bliss like that and who else expected Bliss to be so damn good? The tiny little firecracker helped herself even further this week with a beautiful Sparkle Splash-inspired win over Cameron. If she keeps this up, she’ll definitely be in line for a shot at the NXT Women’s Title.
