With plenty of promo and a few interesting moments in the ring, Smackdown did a solid job of preparing the WWE Universe for the upcoming Roadblock event and with a handful of hints for Wrestlemania.
Matches:
Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose: Both competitors were evenly matched, but the Lunatic Fringe delivered the Dirty Deeds and won in a non-title match.
The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler: The Miz didn’t waste any time as he viciously attacked his opponent, but Ziggler fought back as the Showoff was victorious after he delivered the backslide pin.
Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks: The divas battled in a tough match until Charlotte hit both ladies to end the match in a disqualification.
AJ Styles vs. Kofi Kingston w/ The New Day: Big E Langston and Xavier Woods: Although Kingston had his moments, Styles was in control and his quickness and won after he delivered the Flying Forearm.
The Usos: Jimmy and Jay vs. League Of Nations: Sheamus and Rusev w/Alberto Del Rio and Wade Barrett: The match was a little crazy as both teams destroyed each other until Sheamus ended the battle with a Brogue Kick for the win.
