WWE Smackdown Coverage: Action Without Entertainment.

Dean Ambrose’s tough message for Brock Lesnar in his hometown of Cincinnati was the only entertainment this week on Thursday Night Smackdown. Although the action and trash talk was cool, there wasn’t much excitement as you’d expect with WrestleMania 32 approaching. In the end, the show turned out decent thanks to a confrontation between Divas Champion Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks that went a bit extreme. With Chris Jericho’s jealousy of AJ Styles continuing, their rivalry should finish at the show of shows. But even with all of that, the card was simply boring.

Matches:

AJ Styles vs. intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens: Styles had momentum but Jericho interfered and Owens took the advantage when he delivered the Pop-up Powerbomb for the win in a non-title match.

WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston w/New Day: Big E Langston and Xavier Woods vs. Wade Barrett w/League Of Nations: Rusev, Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio: Aside from a few distractions from both teams, Barrett and Kingston hit each other with fast strikes until the Boom Machine delivered a quick Rollup to Barrett and won.

Goldust vs. Bubba Ray Dudley w/Devon Dudley: With a small distraction from Devon a and Bubba’s kick to the gut of Goldust, Bubba Ray was victorious.

The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler: The Miz used the Figure Four, but the Show Off had enough energy to defeat his opponent after the Super Kick.
