The continued rise of Enzo Amore and Colin Cassidy, as well the debut of Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows made sure this wasn’t a forgettable episode of Monday Night RAW. Check out this week’s RAW Power Rankings to see who else starred on another over-the-top episode of the WWE’s flagship program.
Honorable Mention: Natalya Neidhart: Her win via DQ over WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair proves once again that Neidhart is one of the elite performers in the division. It may have been a long way for her back to the top of the card, but she’s earned it and deserves it.
5: Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows: Their decimation of The Usos this week on RAW changes the Tag Team division in a big way.
4: Dean Ambrose: His new feud with Chris Jericho is more proof that the WWE has big things planned for The Lunatic Fringe.
3: Cesaro: His win over Kevin Owens this week on RAW assures him a shot at The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship. One of the best workers on the planet and riding a nice run of momentum since his return, this may be the beginning of Cesaro’s first prolonged push in a long time. Able to bring the IC title back to the upper part of the card, Cesaro can also elevate The Miz, who hasn’t been the same performer in years.
2: Roman Reigns: It’s obvious he’s way in over his head on the microphone and the fact that the WWE feels they have to throw in The League of Nations, The Wyatt Family and AJ Styles in his way before Payback? Simply put, while the Internet Wrestling Community has made their dislike of Reigns apparent, he hasn’t done anything to shut them up yet. The jury is out if he ever will.
1: AJ Styles: His win over Sami Zayn this week on RAW cemented his spot as the # 1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. With Roman Reigns not doing much in the ring or on the mic as late, Styles fantastic match work over the past few weeks has come at the perfect time.
