Review Fix Exclusive: Bizzythowed Talks ‘Blank Check, Volume I’

Review Fix chats with Urban hard rocker, Bizzythowed, who discusses his new LP, Blank Check, Volume I, which is set for an April 8th release, Blank Check, Volume I is the debut full-length from the Texas-based writer/producer, who has worked alongside The Weeknd, Nicki Minaj and Fabolous.

Review Fix: How did it feel to play Jimmy Fallon?

Bizzythowed: It was nerve racking because it was one of our first shows ever and it was going to be on live Tv broadcast to millions. Afterwards, it was an awesome and great experience.

Review Fix: What are your goals for this LP?

Bizzythowed: My goals are to get my band established performing and releasing quality content. This LP is to get the ball rolling so to speak. My arrival as an artist.

Review Fix: How was “Life is Here” written?

Bizzythowed: Is there a story behind it? “Life is Here” is a song about not wasting time and a reminded that time is constant and to follow you dreams now because it will be harder to do so if you wait too long.

Review Fix: Is there another standout song on the EP?

Bizzythowed: I like them all but “Nothing you Can Do About It” definitely stands out to me.

Review Fix: How would you describe your sound to someone who’s never heard you?

Bizzythowed: It’s raw and honest and gritty. It’s a gumbo pot of hard rock music, rocking guitars and banging beats and to the point lyrics. It’s everything you like and nothing you hate.

Review Fix: What makes this album a special one?

Bizzythowed: It’s my first one so it’s definitely special to me.

Review Fix: What’s next?

Bizzythowed: Blank Check Volume 2 will be here shortly and another compilation project as well.
