Review Fix chats with about their single, “Silver Tongue,†their creative process and goals for the future.
Review Fix: How did the band get together?
Relentless: ENDRAH is based out of Sao Paulo, Brazil and it started as a band called INK back around 2002 2003. In 2004, The band had added world famous guitarist Billy Graziadei of the NY band BIOHAZARD. The other guys were Brazilians were played in pro national Brazilian bands. One of them had opened for Iron Maiden during the biggest Rock in Rio show. I (Relentless, the vocalist), was recruited in 2005 to replace their original vocalist who they kicked out of the band. I saw an ad for Biohazard guitarist project looking for a vocalist and I went for it. They sent me to New York and I went to Biohazard’s now legendary old studio and tracked backups with them on a song they released called SET ME FREE. That was quite an honor. I then beat out the rest of the challengers and they chose me. I flew to Brazil and we tracked our debut self-titled full length record ENDRAH. You can find it online easily.
Review Fix: What’s your creative process like?
Relentless: Covero, our lead guitarist is the principal songwriter as far the riffs and general arrangements go. He then teaches the riffs to Bruno the drummer, and Adriano the bassist. They then work out the song arrangements and add the magic onto the original guitar parts. At that point they send demos to me to work lyrics over. Then I demo that, and then send to them. We then record the instruments in Brazil, and vocals in USA. I use one of three amazing pro studios and great world class producers for my tracking. After that, the vocal track files are sent to Brazil, and then they mix and we master either in USA or Brazil depending on the situation. The internet is the only reason ENDRAH can exist and function as we do.
Review Fix: What’s your standout song? How was it written?
Relentless: I think “Silver Tongue†is the standout song that I have written. It is off THE CULLING album (released in 2013 via Epochal Artists/ Caroline Records/ Capitol Music Group), and it is a song about the eloquence and treachory of today’s world leaders. The song really hits you, and the lyrics take you along the musical journey. I am proud of that song. They are many that stand out to us, and those are ones you would see in our live sets. This includes 61 Rounds, Turns Blue, The Emetic Manifesto, You’re The Hunted Now, Over It, The Culling, and Cadaver Na Barragem.
Review Fix: What are your goals for 2016?
Relentless: ENDRAH is in the studio right now recording a new E.P. set for release on a to be released record label name.

Review Fix: How do you want your music to affect people?
Relentless: We want people at our live shows to go fucking crazy and get all your energy out. We want our fans to “sing” along and get into it. We want to see some movement and at our headlining shows thus far we do. We have sent some people to another level, and the moshpits for ENDRAH all some of the most brutal you can find in South America.
Lyrically we want to inspire change that benefits the people and the earth. We want you to join our revolution. We think actions speak louder than words but together we can do more than by ourselves. We are starting the fire, help us keep it lit.
