Review Fix: What was the creative process of this album?
Tim Allard: Some of the songs for this album were written collaboratively between all of us and some were written individually. The common factor was that all the songs were developed as a band and workshopped until they were natural. The recording process was fairly organic. We didn’t want to get things perfect to the point of blandness. We wanted to keep a bit of the human element present.
Review Fix: What bands inspire you guys the most?

Allard: Some of our favourite bands are Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, and The Band. We’re also huge fans of Tom Petty, Neil Young, Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson and all of the great ’60s R&B.
Review Fix: What is the standout song on the album? How was it written?
Allard: The single we chose from the album is Wrong Way Turns Out Right. It was written in Nashville by Chelsea and Danielle after the melody sprung into Chelsea’s head while having a shower.
Review Fix: How do you want your tunes to affect people?
Allard: We hope most of our songs resonate with people, and that they can relate to them. We also have songs that we hope get people to want to boogie.
Review Fix: How is the sound different?
Allard: Our sound is a bit different than most, I think, because of our widespread musical influences, and the way that our three voices blend together. We spent a lot of time perfecting our vocal blend and harmonies.
Review Fix: Bottom line, why should someone check out this album?
Allard: We think it’s a great album. It was recorded and produced independently, and we’re very proud of how it turned out. And it’s honest music, and that’s something that the world needs more of right now.
Review Fix: What’s next?
Allard: Right now we’ve got some festival shows lined up, and we’re looking forward to hitting the road in the near future.
