WWE RAW Power Rankings: Universally Awesome

Thanks to the work of two NXT icons Sasha Banks and Finn Balor, the first RAW of the new era was a solid one with plenty of in-ring action.

Check out this week’s RAW Power Rankings to see who else starred in a memorable episode.

Honorable Mention: Nia Jax: In her first match on RAW, Jax squashed an indie opponent, but don’t let that fool you. She’ll be in the conversation for the WWE Women’s Championship by next year at this time.

5: Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson: Their decimation of The New Day is a great move to get them the momentum back that they lost following Battleground.

4: Sasha Banks: In one of the best matches on RAW in 2016, Banks proved why she was a star in NXT and why she deserves to be the face of the WWE Women’s Division moving forward.

3: Roman Reigns: His win in the second Fatal-Four Way match on the first RAW of the new era was a special match for the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion. With Stephanie McMahon against him and credibility to reestablish, Reigns has a big ladder to climb to get back to where he was just a handful of weeks ago.

2: Finn Balor: His first match on RAW went perfect. His second was even better. Dominant, but opportunistic, Balor did exactly what you’d want him to do and more, beating, Cesaro, Owens and the United States Champion Rusev and Roman Reigns on his first night. Make no mistake, Balor is on a wonderful path.

1: Seth Rollins: He wasn’t in action this week, but with a guaranteed title shot for the new WWE Universal title, Rollins is as relevant as ever.
