Bobby Lashley is the first ever simultaneous Triple Crown winner in TNA history. He’s the man, that’s it. End of story.
Check out this week’s Impact Wrestling Power Rankings to see who else tried to measure up to the “Destroyer†this week on Impact.
Honorable Mention: Ethan Carter III: With a title shot at Bound for Glory, Carter is back in the driver’s seat with plenty of momentum. But will he accept Drew Galloway’s challenge and put it all on the line?
5: Moose: It’s impossible to not like the monster, who’s mix of power and athleticsm was on full effect this week as he nailed former TNA Tag Team and X-Division Champion Eddie Edwards with a Top Rope Sit-Out Powerbomb. It was a solid match for him as for the first time in his TNA career that he had some solid dance partners and wasn’t fed indie jobbers. Regardless of how long his alliance with Michael Bennett and Maria Kanellis lasts, this dude has a future, as long as he isn’t fed more jobbers.
4: Aron Rex: Known in the WWE as Damien Sandow, Rex will get the same opportunities in TNA that Drew Galloway and Bobby Lushly did, proving that he’s a top-tier performer that’s capable of being a singles champion. More than an acquisition that’ll deepen the roster, Sandow is a guy that TNA can build around.
3: The Hardy Boys: After weeks of trying to lure Jeff to the dark side, Matt has finally succeeded. Will it get them back to the top of the TNA Tag Team Division? Or was it all a big waste of time?
2: James Storm: The vignettes throughout the show were sweet and allowed fans to connect more with Storm than he quite possibly ever has before. Although he was unable to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship from Lashley this week on Impact, he’s still one of the best workers in the company and someone they can depend on.
1: Bobby Lashley: The first even King of the Mountain, X-Division and TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Lashley is in a league of his own. The most decorated wrestler in the business right now, with the best MMA record as well, he’s a legend in his own time.
