TNA Turning Point Coverage: Allie Wins Knockouts Title, Galloway Attacks Rex

A new Knockouts Champion, #1 Contender and the conclusion of the ECIII/Drew Galloway war made for an interesting episode of Impact that was eerily entertaining. it also helps that the Hardy Boys’ gimmick is finally starting to resonate with fans and a lot of the filler that was killing the show for weeks wasn’t prevalent this week.

Matches:

Battle Royal For Shot at TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Jessie Godderz vs. Robbie E. vs. Eli Drake vs. Baron Dax vs. Basile Baraka vs. Grado vs. Mahabali Shera vs. Mike Bennett vs. Moose vs. Eddie Edwards: Moose, Bennett and Edwards were the final three in a boring Battle Royal. All strikes and barely any offense, it was hard to get into the match. Bennett got the win after he turned his back on Moose, who was eliminating Edwards.

Jeff Hardy w/Matt Hardy vs. TNA Tag Team Champion Abyss w/ TNA Tag Team Champion Crazy Steve and Rosemary: Jeff had Abyss beat but Matt Would not let him use the Swanton Bomb. Jeff then nailed Abyss with a chain but couldn’t win either. After Steve accidentally hit Abyss with the Mist, Jeff nearly won with the Twist of Fate but Abyss kicked out. After Matt but the ear off of Crazy Steve, Rosemary got involved, allowing Abyss to beat Jeff with the Blackhole Slam.

TNA Knockouts Champion Sienna vs. Martie Bell vs. Allie vs. Jade vs. Madison Rayne: Tons of finishers until Martie Bell knocked out Allie with her baton, on top of Mickie James for the surprise victory.

Drew Galloway vs. Ethan Carter III, Aron Rex special guest referee: This was a back and forth match that ECIII squeezed out with a Rollup following a Piledriver from Galloway. After the match, Galloway attacked Rex.
