With a new World Heavyweight Champion in Eddie Edwards and Moose, Ethan Carter III and Bobby lushly all jockeying for a shot at the gold, this was a frenetic episode with plenty of drama.
Check out this week’s TNA Impact Wrestling Power Rankings to see what else happened
Honorable Mention: Aron Rex: His win over Jessie Godderz begins to cast a shadow over his squeaky clean image in Impact Wrestling thus far.
5: Cody Rhodes: With a win over Michael Bennett in his Impact Wrestling debut, Rhodes was able to check off another box on his list.
4: Moose: A win over Ethan Carter III gets the former ROH standout a match with Bobby Lashley next week.
3: The Hardy Boys: These guys haven’t been this over in TNA, ever. However, with Decay vanquished, who’s left?
2: Bobby Lashley: How many guys could lose the World Heavyweight Championship and not lose a bit of steam? Beating on TNA World Heavyweight Champion Eddie Edwards, Lashley is as dangerous as ever.
1: Eddie Edwards: He’s not the mic man you’d expect a champion to be and he’s not the biggest dog in the fight. Might like Chris Sabin’s run with the title a few years ago, Edwards is that underdog you love to root for. In order to be more than a transitional champion, he has to step up his game on every level.
