Impact Wrestling Coverage: DCC Dominates

This week’s Impact Wrestling proved that TNA will live and die on the vignettes of the Hardy Boys. Away from a fun segment with Matt Hardy, this week’s Impact was average at best, even with the DCC’s first in-ring action, a Fact of Life segment and a new #1 contender.

Matches:

Impact Grand Champion Aron Rex vs. Jessie Godderz: Rex was in trouble throughout and Rex got the submission win with the Adonis Crab.

Brandi Roads and Madison Rayne vs. Laurel Van Ness w/Maria Kanellis and Allie: A boring back and forth that saw Rayne do most of the heavy lifting before Roads got the win with Downward Spiral variation.

#1 Contender’s Match: Trevor Lee vs. Ethan Carter III vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Michael Bennett: Every guy here hit a ton of offense and lee, the smallest of the three, didn’t look out of place, at all. But after Carter hit the TK3, Carter finished off Lee with the Guillotine Choke.

Mahabali Shera vs. Basile Baraka: Shera got the win an ugly Camel Clutch, but Baron Dax beat on him after the match. Al Snow then hit the ring in support of The Tribunal, but then attacked them.

TNA World Heavyweight Champion Eddie Edwards and Jeff Hardy vs. DCC: Eddie Kingston, James Storm and Bram: A good back and forth, but things got spicy after Bram hit his Brighter Side of Suffering DDT through a table on Edwards. With Edwards out, Storm got the win with the Last Call Super Kick on Hardy.
