Review Fix chats with Lucid AfterLife Lead Singer Nat Jack discusses the band’s origin, creative process and upcoming album, “Occult Mafia Mistress.â€
Review Fix: How did the band get together?
Nat Jack: We all had long locks and facial hair and decided we may as well just go the whole way and start playing music in a band.
Review Fix: What’s your creative process like?
Jack: It’s like my sex life, you always want it to be happening but it’s always not the one you want and when you do get that sound you have been looking for and go for it, you find everyone else is doing it two weeks later.
Review Fix: What’s your standout song? How was it written?
Jack: I guess Alpha Omega is our most popular right now, was written in a day actually, just got the groove and the lyrics came out easy.
Review Fix: What are your goals for 2017?
Jack: Play as much music as we can.
Review Fix: How do you want your music to affect people?
Jack: I think every song hits a different point, essentially stirring the emotions is our game, open the inner doors through sound and live energy, ya.
Review Fix: Whats next?
Jack: I’m going to Value Village to find a cool shirt but for Lucid AfterLife keep an eye out for our new record Occult Mafia Mistress coming this Fall.
