Impact Wrestling Coverage: Mathews and Borash Feud Over, Thank You

With the end of the awful Jeremy Borash/Josh Mathews feud, let’s hope TNA can get back to business and soon. Having their match end this week’s Impact was a complete joke.

Matches:

Tag Team Triple Threat Match: Reno Scum: Luster the Legend and Adam Thornstowe vs. Garza Jr. and Laredo Kid vs. Decay: Abyss and Crazy Steve w/Rosemary: All three teams got their licks in, but Reno Scum got the win with the Double Foot Stop Combination.

Allie and Braxton Sutter vs. Sienna and Kevin Matthews: A weak mix-tagged that saw Allie win by accident. The real drama was after the match as Kongo Kong, Laurel Van Ness, KM and Sienna beat on the victors.

Knockouts Champion Rosemary vs. Santana Garrett: This was an enjoyable match as Garrett is athletic and charismatic, but Rosemary is a different beast. After Garrett missed the Moonsault, Rosemary nailed her with the Red Wedding for the win.

Andrew Everett vs. Marshe Rockett vs. Suicide vs. Shane Helms w/Trevor Lee: Great to see Helms back in the ring, but Everett was a step ahead, winning with his Shooting Star Press variation. Of course, Lee attacked him after the match.

Davey Richards w/ Angelina Love vs. DJ Z: Richards won with the Buzzsaw Kick and Ankle Lock. After the match, Eddie and Alish Edwards hit the ring as Alisha ends up attacking Love.

Team Jeremy Borash: Alberto El Patron, Chris Adonis, Magnus and Matt Morgan vs. Team Josh Mathews Lashley, Bram, Eli Drake, and Tyrus: A fun one as there were finishers galore. After the smoke cleared, however, Magnus got the win with the Elbow Drop from the top rope on Bran (after a Morgan Big Boot) to end Mathews’ announcing career in TNA. Ironically the entire locker room came out to celebrate.
