WWE RAW Coverage: Awful Go-Home Show Before Payback

The go-home show before Payback was a waste. With a lackluster card, RAW killed its momentum and created a situation where this Sunday’s PPV is anything but a must-see

Matches:

WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy w/Jeff Hardy vs. Sheamus w/Cesaro: A decent back and forth that saw Hardy get the win with a Twist of Fate on the distracted Sheamus.

Jack Gallagher and Austin Aries vs. TJ Perkins and WW Cruiserweight Champion Neville: Another enjoyable match with a few high-flying spots. Aries got the win over Perkins with the Five-Arm.

Dumpster Match: Kalisto vs. Braun Strowman: Kalisto got the win with an apron Dropkick, but Strowman destroyed Kalisto after the bell with a three One-Arm Chokeslams.

Dana Brooke vs. Alicia Fox: A waste of time that saw Brooke win with an awful version of her Fireman’s Carry/Michinoku Driver. After the match, Emma gave Brooke a hug she didn’t appreciate.

Big Cass, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows: After Gallows, Joe and Anderson took out Enzo Amore, Balor got called in by RAW GM Kurt Angle to fill in. Rollins ended up getting the win with a modified Knee Lift after deciding not to use the Pedigree.

Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks: A waste of time that saw Banks win via count-out.

Curt Hawkins vs. Apollo Crews: Crews got the quick win with his Powerbomb variation. After the match, Titus O’Neill was in the ring trying to have Crews join the Titus brand.

Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho vs. The Miz and w/Maryse: The Miz caught a beating throughout, but Bray Wyatt got involved at the end and hit Ambrose, Jericho and The Miz  with the Sister Abigail to end the show.
