Five matches and the continues development of LAX and Ethan Carter III as dominant forces made this week’s Impact better than it has been lately. Regardless, there’s still a heck of a lot of work to do.
Matches:
Eli Drake, Chris Adonis and Ethan Carter III vs. Eddie Edwards, Impact Grand Champion: Moose, Naomichi Marufuji: Plenty of action here, but Carter III was the standout thanks to his continued use of The Angel’s Wings, which earned him the win over Moose.
Super X Cup: Davey Richards vs. Taiji Ishimori: Lots of counters but Ishimori got the win with the 450.
Last KO Standing: Rosemary vs. Unified TNA/GFW Women’s Champion Sienna: KM played an influential role in this match, allowed Sienna to win an encounter Rosemary had in the bag.
Trevor Lee vs. Octagoncito: Lee walked out of the match, which gave the mini the win via Count-Out. Sonjay Dutt hit the ring, but Bruce Pritchard got involved and kept them separated.
GFW/TNA Unified World Heavyweight Champion: Alberto El Patron vs. LAX: Patron worked hard and nearly won the old fashioned way, but the numbers game allowed LAX to beat on the champion until they got DQed. After it all VOW hit the ring and saved the champion to end the show.
