WWE RAW Coverage: Joe and Lesnar, Strowman and Reigns Ready For GBOF

The drama between Samoa Joe and Brock Lesnar was intense enough to make up for a lukewarm three-hours of wrestling that didn’t little to ignite an explosion before the Great Balls of Fire event this Sunday.

Matches:

Sasha Banks and Bayley vs. WWE RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax: Jax took Bailey out of the match, but Banks beat Bliss with the Bank Statement after she took Jax out of the equation.

Cedric Alexander vs. Noam Dar w/Alicia Fox: Alexander won with the Lumbar Check after he avoided a distraction from Fox.

Heath Slater w/Dean Ambrose and Rhyno vs. Intercontinental Champion The Miz w/Maryse, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas: Slater nearly won with a Powerslam from the top rope, but the numbers game paid dividends as Axel and Dallas took out Rhyno, which distracted Slater and allowed The Miz to win with the Skull-Crushing Finale. After the match they continued to beat on Slater, so Ambrose, who was at the commentary booth intervened, but Dallas, Axel and The Miz got the last laugh as Miz hit the SCF on Ambrose too.

Seth Rollins vs. Curt Hawkins: Rollins got the quick win with the Running Knee.

Cruiserweight Champion Neville vs. Mustafa Ali: Neville got the win with the Rings of Saturn, but Ali nearly won on a few occasions.

WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Cesaro w/ WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Sheamus vs. Finn Balor: The Hardy Boys and Elias Sampson got involved in this wild encounter that saw Balor win with the Coup De Grace.

Braun Strowman vs. Apollo Crews w/Titus O’Neill: Crews dominated for a spell, but Strowman countered the Standing Moonsault and won with three Running Powerslams. After the match, Strowman nailed O’Neil with a Powerslam as well. Strowman then put Crews in the Ambulance that was next to the ramp, but Roman Reigns popped out of the driver’s seat and the two beat on each other to end the show.
