GFW Impact Coverage: EC3 Wins Grand Championship

A new member of LAX in Low-Ki and Ethan Carter’s capturing of the Impact Grand Championship fueled a solid episode of Impact that would have been better if Bruce Pritchard wasn’t on it. Let’s get it straight either, it’s not that he’s annoying like a Vikki Guerrero. He’s just awful on camera and bogs down the product every time he’s on it.

Matches:

Super X Cup Semi-Final Match: Dezmond Xavier vs. Drago: A ton of back and forth and a wild finish as Xavier won with the X19 and Final Flash Corkscrew Senton.

Trevor Lee vs. Mumbai Cat #1: A silly encounter that saw the “Cats” switch places while the ref was distracted. Mumbai Cat #2 ended up hitting the Top Rope Splash for the win and later revealed himself as Sonjay Dutt.

Impact Grand Champion Moose vs. Ethan Carter III: After the two traded rounds, a controversial call by Bruce Pritchard allowed Carter to win the Grand Championship.

KM, Fallah Bahh & Mario Bokara vs. Suicide, Grado & Braxton Sutter w/ Alli: Another silly one as Grado won with the Rollup, as Kongo Kong’s drama with Grado continues and Allie and Sutter all of a sudden have relationship issues.

LAX: Homicide and Unified Tag Team Champions Santana and Ortiz w/ Konnan and Diamante vs. Unified World Champion Alberto El Patron, Dos Caras and El Hijo de Dos Caras: Thanks to help from the newest member of LAX, Low-Ki, LAX got the win.
