GFW Impact Coverage: GFW vs. The World

This week’s Impact was all over the place, literally. More like a clip show, with minimal efforts inside the Impact Zone, it felt a little off. However, with the wars between Top Team and GFW, AAA and GFW and Johnny Impact and Eli Drake, there was plenty to take in.

Matches:

Ethan Carter III and James Storm vs. El Hijo de Fantasma and Texano: After Texano and his partner can’t get on the same page, Storm hits the Last Call Super Kicker for the win.

GFW Tag Team Champions: oVe: Jake and Dave vs. Atlas and Banks: Lots of great back and forth, but oVe won with the Double-Team Tombstone Variation.

Pro Wrestling NOAH GHC Heavyweight Champion Eddie Edwards vs. Naomichi Marufuji: This was a war (watch the match online and not the clip on Impact) that saw Edwards win with the Criss-Cross SnowPlow over a game Marufuji.

Chris Adonis and GFW World Heavyweight Champion Eli Drake vs. Johnny Impact and Garza Jr.: Your typical heels vs. faces match that saw Impact get the hot tag and steal the match with a counter and a Rollup.

GFW X-Division Champion Trevor Lee vs. Ultimo Ninja: Lee was his typical heel self, winning with a Foot Stomp and a massive grab of the tights.

Moose w/Stephan Bonnar vs. Lashley w/Dan Lambert: Moose smelled up Lashley’s eye and Lambert nailed Moose with a trophy to give the former Impact Grand Champion the win via DQ.
