Review Fix chats with instrumental rock artist Udi Levy, who discusses his creative process and goals. Inspired by some of the greatest guitar players of all-time, Levy is a special talent as well.

Review Fix: How’d you get involved in music?
Udi Levy: I was always around music because of my older sisters. I remember stealing their cassette and listening to all the music they recorded on television.
Review Fix: Who influences your sound the most?
Levy: Really hard to an answer it with one artist… it won’t be fair to others ha I can name a few but there a lot more- Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Gary Moore, Joe Satriani, Vinnie Moore, Albert Lee, Wes Montgomery, Uzeb and a lot lot more.
Review Fix: What’s your creative process like?
Levy: Usually it starts from just noodling with the guitar between students or when I’m practicing my daily routine. If I’m getting an idea I’ll continue to develop it. I’m trying not to sit to compose intentionally it is too stressful and most of the time I won’t be able to come up with anything.
Review Fix: What makes your newest work special?
Levy: I think it’s the diversity, combining all the styles and approaches to composing but still maintain the rock instrumental line.
Review Fix: How would you describe your sound to someone who’s never heard you before?
Levy: Let’s keep it simple with just Rock instrumental.
Review Fix: Bottom line, why should someone buy it?
Levy: If you are into guitar driven music you won’t be disappointed!
Review Fix: What are your goals for the rest of the year?
Levy: Promoting the CD as hard and as much as I can.
Review Fix: What do you feel you have to do to make your dreams in music come true?
Levy: Basically just keep on doing what I’m doing compose, record and perform.
