With several feuds heating up, this week’s GFW was solid, even if it lacked a super cool moment. Simply put the ongoing drama between Lashley and Cage, as well as Austin Aries and Alberto El Patron is more than enough to hold us over.
Matches:
Bobby Lashley vs. Brian Cage: Cage kicked out of a Spear and hit the Drill Claw to beat Lashley for the second week in a row.
GFW Knockouts Champion Allie vs. Su Yung: This got thrown out as Yung used the kendo stick to get the match thrown out.
Taiji Ishimori vs. Johnny Impact: Impact won with the Starship Pain, but after the match, Kongo Kong and Jimmy Jacobs hit the ring and beat on him before he hit the Spinning Plancha on the outside to send the big man off to the back.
Case vs. Case: Moose vs. Eli Drake: oVe got involved but Eddie Edwards made the save. However, Eli Drake used a bat, but still didn’t put Moose away. It wasn’t until after he hit the Gravy Train that Drake won and claimed possession of the Heavyweight Title and Tag Team Title Feast or Fired cases.

Hickey Jr. is also a voice actor, having starred in the 2018 indie hit and 2019 Switch, PS4 and Xbox One release, The Padre (also serving as English language Story Editor), from Shotgun With Glitters. The sequel, The Padre: One Shell Straight to Hell was released in February 2021- Hickey also served as a Story Editor and Lead Voiceover performer. He has also done narration and trailers for several other titles including The Kaiju Offensive, Relentless Rex and Roniu’s Tale.
Hickey is also the lead voiceover performer on Mega Cat Studios’ upcoming title WrestleQuest, responsible for nearly 90 characters in the game, as well as Skybound's Renfield: Bring Your Own Blood, where he voices both Dracula and Renfield, as well as several other characters. He also stars in Ziggurat Interactive’s World Championship Boxing Manager 2, where he performs the VO of nearly every male character in the game. He also worked on the Atari VCS’s BPM Boy.
