While not a landmark episode, this week’s RAW had a beefy card and enough storyline to keep you invested. With the end of a few awful storylines as well, RAW has plenty of room to grow from here.
Matches:
Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler w/Drew McIntyre: This was a back and forth encounter and McIntyre did not get involved at all. After Rollins tried to Rollup Ziggler with a handful of tights, Ziggler returned the favor and stole the title. After the match, Rollins got in Ziggler’s face and McIntyre beat on Rollins and the duo hit the Zig-More for the exclamation mark.
Bobby Roode vs. Curt Hawkins: Hawkins had a small opportunity to win, but Roode capitalized on an opportunity of his own and won with the Glorious DDT.
WWE RAW Tag Team Champions: Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy vs. Rhyno and Heath Slater: The B-Team played mind games before the match, but Hardy and Wyatt weren’t impressed and won with the Kiss of Deletion.
Jinder Mahal w/Sunil Singh vs. Chad Gable: Mahal won with the Khallas, but Gable made him earn it in a valiant effort.
Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan w/Ruby Riott vs. Sasha Banks and Bayley: Morgan won with the Rollup and a handful of tights and after the match, Bayley and Banks stared each other down and Banks attacked her.
The Revival: Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson vs. Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns: Reigns and Lashley didn’t get along, but Lashley tagged himself in and got the win with the Spear.
No Way Jose vs. Mojo Rawley: Jose had some spurts of offense but Rawley won with a Gorilla Press variation.
Finn Balor and Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin and Kevin Owens: Corbin and Owens made a solid team, but Balor’s heart and Strowman’s strength made it a super balanced bout. After Strowman took out KO on the outside, Balor went for the Coup De Grace, but Corbin hit the End of Days for the win.
