Review Fix: How did Aspire Pro and PWE begin working together?

Erik Viking: PWE and Aspire began working together because we trained together at ROH and thus known each other for over 7 years. We both had independent companies so we decided to connect them (once per year- summer).

Review Fix: What can fans expect from this show?

Fans can expect a unique show. That’s what I’m going for. Something a little different. They can expect wholesome entertainment for all ages, with a space/alien theme. We are very storyline-based, so fans can expect fun, joyful stories.

Review Fix: How did this card come together?

Viking: The card came together by myself and Jenny Rose booking the talent that we wanted, then combining them on one card. Jenny has her matches, I have mine.

Review Fix: Joey Gacy is becoming a big-time indie star. How does it feel to have him on your card?

Viking: Joe Gacy is a great talent; I like him a lot as a talent and as a person. I don’t think much about having him on the show because he’s always been with us, which I appreciate. Nothing but the best for Joe in his future.

Review Fix: Cheeseburger is coming into his own thanks to a great feud with Bully Ray in ROH. What does it mean to have him on this card?

Viking: Cheeseburger too, he’s just a great guy. I book friends and great people, and he’s one of them. It doesn’t mean anything extra to have Cheeseburger on this show, he just belongs here- we’re a family. I came from ROH and I definitely enjoy booking talent that I know from the past, like him, Jenny, Rhett Titus, Grizzly Redwood, etc. We all have a mutual understanding and they know what I’m thinking and vice versa. PWE is like a fun, underground punk rock show.

Review Fix: Gabby Ortiz is another up and coming performer. What can people expect I. Her bout against Jenny Rose?

Viking: Jenny Rose vs. Gabby Ortiz is an Aspire Pro match and Jenny is in charge of it. I can only image that it’s going to be a great bout!

Review Fix: What match on this card do you think has the potential to be a sleeper success and catch people off-guard with how good it is?

Viking: Tracy Williams vs. Rory Gulak will be the sleeper match and probably the best bell-to-bell match on the show. These guys are super talented technicians in the ring and will showcase just that. Sleeper? I don’t know, by now, I think people have caught on to these guys and their talents. But I can say this, I will be releasing this match to the public after the event, I have that much confidence that it’ll be good.

Review Fix: What’s next for the brand?

Viking: For PWE? What’s next is live streaming with Powerbomb.tv! On Sunday, 10/7, our event will be, for the first time, live-streamed online! So cool!

Review Fix: Anything else you’d like to add?

Viking: I’d like people to come hang out with us! Our shows are fun!
