WWE RAW Coverage: The Boys Are Back in Town

With a solid Summerslam behind them, the WWE kept up the pace and delivered a fine episode of RAW that showcased the surging youth on the roster in the form of The Riott Squad, The Authors of Pain, The Revival and Elias Sampson. Wins by Bobby Lashley and Dean Ambrose were good moves as well and an enjoyable main event capped off a show that leaves them with a few different ways to go.

Matches:

Baron Corbin vs. Bobby Lashley: Corbin was smart and beat on Lashley on the outside and used power moves on the inside, but Lashley won with the Dominator variation.

Bayley, Sasha Banks and Ember Moon vs. The Riott Squad: Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan: Riott got the win with The Riott Kick on Banks after Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan used the numbers game to their advantage.

Dean Ambrose w/Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler w/Drew McIntyre: Ambrose got the win with the Dirty Deeds after Rollins took out McIntyre on the outside. Sporting more power maneuvers and strikes, this is a much different Ambrose.

Elias Sampson vs. Curt Hawkins: Elias got the win with the Drift Away in a match that Hawkins tried hard to win early on.

The Authors of Pain: Akam and Rezar vs. Titus Worldwide: Titis O’Neil and Apollo Crews w/Dana Brooke: TAOP got the win with the Final Chapter in one of their most dominant performances yet.

The Revival: Scott Dawson w/ Dash Wilder vs. WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Bo Dallas w/Curtis Axel: Dawson dominated and won with a nice Package DDT variation.

The Revival: Dash Wilder w/ Scott Dawson vs. WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Curtis Axel w/Bo Dallas: Wilder got the impressive win with the Gory Bomb variation.

WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor: This was a war that saw Balor drive fans crazy with all of the offense, but he couldn’t put Reigns away. Reigns as well, hit Balor with everything he had. After a pair of Superman Punches, Reigns went for the Spear, but Braun Strowman hit the ring. However, Reigns wasn’t distracted enough and won with the Spear.

HOWEVER, Braun Strowman cashed in his Money in the Bank contract. HOWEVER, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins hit the ring and the bell never rang. Strowman attacked The Shield, but they battled back and cleared the ring and then Triple Powerbombed Strowman through the announce table after a Reigns Spear on the outside.
