Review Fix: What have you accomplished in 2018 as a brand?
Matthew Ryan: Growth. Whether it be 1.3 million views on Twitch, the strengthening of our roster and our front office staff, or working with great partners like Two Roads Brewing and WApanda, we’ve been able to work within some amazing opportunities and make the most out of them.
Being able to showcase our roster of talented wrestlers, managers, announcers, and production has been our biggest thing.Â
Review Fix: What are your goals for 2019?
Ryan: Our goal for 2019 is onward and upward. Being able to utilize our new home of White Eagle Hall to the fullest extent and present the best live event experience in pro wrestling, and the best possible television show. We want to continue our level of innovation and creativity as a visual brand and present our performers as the stars they are.Â
Review Fix: Who has been your in-ring MVP?
Ryan: That is the toughest question, because so many people who wrestle in our ring have been insanely valuable to our brand. Right now its a bit of a horse race between Sonny Kiss and Matt Macintosh, Macintosh has truly become one of the front line faces of our brand and has become a leader for this company.Â
Review Fix: Who has been your most improved performer?
Ryan: Beau Crockett. Match after match he continues to improve and develop his own identity. Being one of the few southerners on our roster, he has found a way to take hints of it and not be a stereotype. He’s forming into a young Arn Anderson, and I love watching him develop.
Review Fix: Who has been your sleeper star?
Ryan: Mike Law. From show one until show 11, he’s been a linchpin to our success. Tough as nails, larger than life, a guy who lives for what we are as a company.
Review Fix: Who do you think are your stars of the future?
Ryan: Dejuan O’Neal frightens me with his talent and potential, same thing with Bobby Orlando and Steve Pena. All very different, all learning their craft and forming an identity, and all guys who know that they can get to the top of the business.
Review Fix: What’s next?
Ryan: Run our final shows of 2018, build the brand further, gain new fans, establish ourselves as a leader in pro wrestling and as a digital content provider, and have a good time.
